Restore the rear interior of your 1970-72 Chevelle convertible with premium reproduction side panels from Distinctive Industries. Each panel features premium 32-ounce Madrid-grain vinyl with precisely formed dielectric seams that reproduce the flat, square-edged appearance of the factory originals. Unlike lesser reproductions with puffy heat-sealed patterns, these panels are carefully tooled to provide a flatter, more authentic factory appearance. The vinyl is mounted to a factory GM-original-style .100-inch poly-coated Autoboard backing, die-cut for the application to provide a substantial, properly formed foundation. Premium tooled chrome trim is pre-formed to follow the contours of the panel, while machine-stapled construction provides added durability compared with panels that rely solely on adhesive. Factory pre-punched mounting holes simplify installation, and the panels are designed to reuse the original upper rails.
