Each Hitachi style starter weighs 10.5-lbs., is 33% smaller than originals, and features 4 position rotational mounting to provide clearance for the oil pan and headers. The 3.7:1 gear reduction gives you up to 170 ft lbs of torque for engines with up to 16:1 compression. These have universal straight mount fitment for Chevrolet 153 and 168 tooth flywheels and carry a one year limited warranty.
