If you're running a race-style Pontiac engine and aren't using a PCV valve, this lightweight aluminum valley pan is the one you want. In most instances this aluminum valley pan can be used without a gasket, and remember, it doesn't have a hole for the PCV valve so it's really relegated to race-only applications.
