1970-72 Oldsmobile Cutlass Dual Gate Overdrive Conversion by Shiftworks®
Adapts the factory Dual Gate shifter with a 30-inch cable, transmission linkage and overdrive indicator.
This Shiftworks® conversion adapts the factory Hurst® Dual Gate shifter in a 1970-72 Oldsmobile Cutlass for a 700R4, 200-4R or 4L60E overdrive transmission. It includes a 30-inch adjustable cable, transmission-pan bracket, selector lever, overdrive indicator lens and hardware. Overdrive is selected at the position formerly used for Neutral, while the first-, second- and Drive positions retain their original locations. The original Dual Gate mechanism is retained rather than replaced by a complete new shifter.
