Steel arm uses the original-style shaft opening and ball stud to connect the motor and linkage.

This reproduction steel arm connects the wiper motor output shaft to the wiper transmission. Its oblong shaft opening engages the motor, while the ball stud provides the pivoting connection to the transmission arm. The original-style connection transfers motor movement through the linkage.
