But once it's applied, clear coat protectant is not needed. The paint must be sprayed through a gun so complete easy-to-follow instructions are included. One quart will do your entire trunk area. 2 Qt. pressure pot spray gun is recommended. To achieve the best results set the gun to 10-25 lbs pressure and hold gun from 10-15 inches away to get proper pattern.
