Hurst Competition/Plus shifters have been the benchmark of transmission control and race-proven since 1963, and still today are constructed using the same high standards that George instated back then. Hurst Competition/Plus installation kits are custom designed to fit directly into your vehicles, with the least possible modifications, and to give you firm positive shifts every time. The kit contains everything needed (shifter not included) to install your Competition/Plus shifter to operate a 1969-1974 Muncie (452, 453) transmission. These transmissions can be identified by the fact they use a bolt to secure the shift arm to the shift fork on the transmission.
