These high quality, reproduction steel hoods from OPGI for the 1981-87 Buick Regal models are made to the exact dimensions of the factory Grand National and Turbo T-Type hoods but will fit all Regals. Featuring factory correct mounting points for the hinges, latches and the hood insulation these hoods are coated in an electro deposit coating and are ready for primer and paint. All of these features make sure that you have a trouble free and bolt-on installation.

Regarding Minor Imperfections In Steel Panels: The sheet metal you receive may have scratches, dings, small dents and other minor imperfections, which are considered normal sheet metal characteristics due to the nature of the product. OPGI does not consider these minor imperfections as damaged. These items will be easily corrected during the filling, priming and sanding phase of your sheet metal installation. All sheet metal panels will require some sort of manipulation during installation. Every panel that we sell is inspected and then carefully packaged to protect against damage that may occur during transit. Test Fit All Panels Prior To Paint and Installation: OPGI recommends test-fitting all sheet metal panels prior to final paint and installation. It is also recommended that the damaged area of the vehicle not be cut out before receiving the new sheet metal. Measure twice, cut once to be safe. Sheet metal panels are not a finished product like door handles and mirrors. Minor modifications including elongating mounting holes, adding shims etc. are normal and may be necessary when installing sheet metal. This is a consideration when reinstalling original GM panels as well as reproductions. It is important to note that hard driving conditions can twist frames and bodies out of original tolerances. Poor bodywork from previous collisions can cause problems with the body structures that the panels are attached to.
