2010 Cadillac STS
The origins of the STS were from the Cadillac Seville, which was dropped in 2004. STS stood for “Seville Touring Sedan” and was originally a performance package for the Seville. Size-wise it fits between the Cadillac CTS and full-size DTS. The STS was rear-wheel drive based on the Sigma GM corporate platform. An STS-V performance variant was produced from 2006-2009, featuring a 4.4-Liter Northstar V8. The 3.6-Liter LY7 V6 was standard. The first generation ran from 2005-2007. The 2008 STS marked the new design still based off of the Sigma platform. Cadillac also assembled the STS in Shanghai, China, called SLS from 2007-2013. A larger CTS introduced in 2014 succeeded the STS.
2010 STS
STS continued unchanged from 2009 with the exception that paint colors Vanilla Latte and Tuscan Bronze were added. The STS-V was dropped after 2009.
