This RESTOPARTS® steel trunk lid replaces the rusted, damaged, or missing original on 1965 Pontiac GTO, LeMans, and Tempest models. Precision stamped from automotive-grade steel, it reproduces the factory contours, edge profiles, and mounting locations for proper fit and alignment with the quarter panels, rear body panel, and weatherstrip channel. A reinforced inner structure provides the strength and rigidity required for dependable operation using the factory-style hinges and latch assembly. Manufactured to RESTOPARTS® quality standards, this reproduction trunk lid features the correct lock cylinder recess and factory-style inner bracing for an authentic appearance. The outer skin is supplied without pre-drilled emblem or molding holes, allowing the installer to locate and drill openings as required for the specific application.
