Weld-in steel reinforcement replaces the rust-prone panel behind the rear wheel.
This RESTOPARTS® Approved 1968 Chevelle trunk side filler panel is a reproduction of the original GM steel reinforcement panel behind the rear wheel. The panel continues from the trunk floor down to the lower quarter panel and welds into the surrounding body structure. Because corrosion often affects both inner and outer layers in this area, it is commonly installed with the corresponding lower quarter repair panel.
