This stamped-steel Hood is designed specifically for 1981–87 Buick Regal models, combining original-style fitment with a custom 2-inch raised cowl profile. Precision-stamped from automotive-grade steel, the hood maintains the correct perimeter dimensions and mounting locations to fit the vehicle like the original hood. The underside features a reinforced stamped-steel inner structure, providing strength and rigidity along with the correct mounting provisions for the original or reproduction hood hinges and latch assembly. Mounting points are located to correspond with the original Buick hood, allowing straightforward installation and proper alignment with the fenders, cowl, grille and surrounding front-end sheet metal. The raised 2-inch cowl provides additional underhood clearance for taller engine and induction combinations while adding a clean performance appearance. Each hood is EDP (Electro-deposit primed) coated to provide corrosion resistance during storage, preparation and installation.
