This RESTOPARTS® stamped-factory GM matched steel Super Sport Hood is an exact reproduction of the original "2 cowl hump (non-functional Cowl Induction) GM factory hood used on 1970–72 Chevelle and El Camino models. This SS hood reproduction has since been installed on thousands of Chevelles and El Caminos and featured on numerous award-winning builds, including many SEMA cars over the years.
Features the original underside factory GM-style steel skeletal reinforcement per OEM design, all original hood-hinge mounting points and the properly reproduced steel insert locations for installation of the original-style hood insulation.
Each hood is EDP (electro-deposit primer) coated to provide corrosion resistance during storage, preparation and installation.
