This RESTOPARTS® stamped-steel Hood is an exact reproduction of the original GM Ram Air hood used on 1968–70 Pontiac GTO models. Precision-stamped from automotive-grade steel, it reproduces the original GTO profile with the correct dual hood scoop openings and provisions for the Ram Air system. The underside features the properly reproduced GM-style skeletal reinforcement/stamped-steel inner structure, providing the strength and rigidity of the original hood along with the correct mounting provisions for the hood hinges and latch assembly. Original mounting points are reproduced in their proper locations for straightforward installation and correct alignment with the fenders, cowl, grille and surrounding front-end sheet metal. Each hood is EDP (Electro-deposit primed) coated to provide corrosion resistance during storage, preparation and installation.
