This RESTOPARTS® stamped-steel GTO Hood is an exact reproduction of the original GM factory hood used on 1965–67 Pontiac GTO models. Precision-stamped from automotive-grade steel, it reproduces the distinctive factory GTO profile, including the correct raised center section and hood scoop opening. The underside features the properly reproduced factory GM-style inner structure, providing the strength and rigidity of the original hood while maintaining the correct provisions for the factory-style hood hinges, latch assembly and related components. The hood scoop opening is correctly formed and positioned for installation of the original-style GTO hood scoop. Factory mounting provisions are reproduced in their proper locations for straightforward installation and correct alignment with the fenders, cowl, grille and surrounding front-end sheet metal. Each hood is EDP (Electro-deposit primed) coated to provide corrosion resistance during storage, preparation and installation.
