This exact reproduction hood release spring is manufactured using thick spring-steel rod that is precisely formed to the correct shape. Finished in black oxide for an authentic appearance, the spring mounts in the original location on the top of the radiator support. When the hood latch is released, the spring pushes the hood up and away from the latch, which allows the hood to be opened.
