This RESTOPARTS® hood pin set accurately reproduces the original hardware used on 1970–72 Chevrolet Chevelle, El Camino and Monte Carlo SS applications. OPGI has offered this reproduction since 1984, with thousands of sets sold & installed.
The kit features polished stainless steel hood-pin plates with correctly positioned countersunk mounting holes, threaded hood pins and hand-polished hardware. Original-style hood pin clips and cables complete the factory appearance while providing the same functional hood-retention arrangement as the original equipment.
Rubber plate gaskets install beneath the stainless steel plates, while the included washers, nuts, mounting screws and plastic cable retainers provide the supporting hardware required for installation. Each component is reproduced to the correct dimensions and configuration for proper fit and authentic appearance.
