This fiberglass hood provides a lightweight replacement for the original hood on 1967 Skylark models. Molded fiberglass construction reproduces the required exterior contours, while the reinforced underside helps provide the rigidity needed for proper fit and appearance. The stock-style flat profile preserves the original exterior appearance while reducing weight compared with a conventional steel hood. The bolt-on configuration is designed for use with the factory-style hinges and latch; lighter fiberglass hood springs are recommended. Test-fit and complete normal fiberglass preparation before primer and paint.
