This fiberglass hood provides a lightweight replacement for the original hood on 1967 Chevelle/El Camino models. Molded fiberglass construction reproduces the required exterior contours, while the reinforced underside helps provide the rigidity needed for proper fit and appearance. The raised 2-inch cowl-induction design provides additional clearance for taller intake and carburetor combinations while adding a performance-oriented appearance. The bolt-on configuration is designed for use with the factory-style hinges and latch; lighter fiberglass hood springs are recommended. Test-fit and complete normal fiberglass preparation before primer and paint.
