This fiberglass hood provides a lightweight replacement for the original hood on 1965-67 LeMans models. Molded fiberglass construction reproduces the required exterior contours, while the reinforced underside helps provide the rigidity needed for proper fit and appearance. The stock-style flat profile preserves the original exterior appearance while reducing weight compared with a conventional steel hood. The bolt-on configuration is designed for use with the factory-style hinges and latch; lighter fiberglass hood springs are recommended. Test-fit and complete normal fiberglass preparation before primer and paint.
