This RESTOPARTS® steel hood replaces the rusted, damaged, or missing original on 1981-88 Monte Carlo models. Precision stamped from automotive-grade steel, it reproduces the factory dimensions, exterior contours, edge profiles, and mounting locations for proper alignment with the fenders, cowl, grille, and surrounding front-end sheet metal. A reinforced inner structure adds strength and rigidity while providing the correct mounting provisions for the factory-style hinges and latch assembly. The raised cowl profile provides additional clearance for taller intake manifolds and air-cleaner combinations while adding a performance-oriented appearance.
