This RESTOPARTS® cowl induction vacuum actuator is manufactured as a reproduction of the original actuator used on 1970-72 Chevelle, El Camino and Monte Carlo cowl induction hoods. Mounted to the underside of the hood, the actuator uses engine vacuum to control the opening and closing movement of the cowl induction door. It restores the correct operating component when an original actuator is missing, damaged or no longer functions properly.
