The cowl area is commonly subject to rust and corrosion as debris and rainwater are often trapped here. These thick gauge steel replacements are coated with electro deposit primer (EDP) for long lasting protection from the elements and feature all the correct bends and contours that run all the way to the bottom of the A-pillar. When paired with the lower reinforcement, rotted cowl side areas can be properly repaired.
