This fender tie bar replaces the rusted, bent, or missing original on 1970-1972 Chevrolet Chevelle and El Camino models equipped with hood pins. Manufactured from steel, it mounts to the radiator core support and ties the front fenders together to maintain proper alignment. Factory-style hood-pin openings distinguish this version from the standard tie bar. Carefully selected by OPGI for fit and function, it provides the correct foundation for the upper front-end sheet metal.
