Genuine GM front impact bar engineered to distribute low-speed collision forces across the bumper.
This Genuine GM® front bumper impact bar is the original-equipment reinforcement for the Cadillac XLR and applicable Chevrolet Corvette models. Mounted behind the front bumper fascia, the bar helps distribute collision forces across a wider area during low-speed impacts, reducing localized damage. General Motors designs, engineers and tests its genuine impact bars to its OE standards. GM part #19120412 supersedes GM #12335606. Applications include 2004–09 Cadillac XLR and 2005–13 Chevrolet Corvette Base models; Corvette performance-model fitment must not be assumed.
