It uses the correct-gauge and color wiring with proper terminals for connection between an OEM radio and OEM speakers. It is not intended for aftermarket radios. It uses automotive-grade GXL wire with heat-resistant cross-linked polyethylene insulation and original-style connectors and terminals.
