This Kenwood® in-dash stereo combines AM/FM, CD and MP3 playback with ID-tag display for the 1986-88 GM models detailed below. The detachable face has a front auxiliary input and fluorescent display; music search, seek/scan, a clock and bass boost provide playback and sound control. Three RCA pre-outs include subwoofer-level control for an expanded audio system. The four-channel amplifier is rated at 200 watts total, 50 watts per channel. Bluetooth®-ready operation provides an upgrade path using a compatible optional adapter; do not assume that a Bluetooth module or hands-free equipment is included. Satellite-radio and HD Radio readiness likewise require compatible optional equipment. Match accessories to the exact receiver model before ordering.
