This Custom Autosound® USA-230 is configured for the original radio opening in 1978-85 Chevrolet El Camino and Monte Carlo, 1978-83 Malibu without cutting the dash. Original-style pushbuttons and knobs surround a digital display with electronic AM/FM tuning. The four-channel amplifier is rated at 50 watts per channel, 200 watts total. Store 12 FM and four AM presets and select USA or European tuning. A rear RCA auxiliary input and included adapter cable connect a compatible portable player through its headphone or line output. Four RCA preamp outputs allow external amplification, while separate bass and treble controls and the front/rear fader adjust the sound. Electronic volume control, a digital clock and a power-antenna lead are included. This model does not provide USB playback, an iPod® dock or CD-changer control.
