12-Volt Radio Shut-Off Delay (Ground-Switched Door Circuit)
Keeps the radio powered after key-off until a door opens or 15 minutes pass.
This radio shut-off delay keeps a 12-volt radio powered after the ignition is switched off, then shuts it down when a door opens or after 15 minutes. It requires a ground-switched dome-light/door circuit and connects to constant power, switched power, the radio power lead, door-switch signal and ground. The controller has a resettable 7.5-amp fuse; use its output to operate an external relay when higher accessory current is needed. The 2 x 1.5 x 1-inch controller has mounting tabs and 24-inch leads. Mount it in a weather-protected location. Connection terminals, zip ties and instructions are included.
