Manufactured exclusively by OPGI / RESTOPARTS®, this is an exact reproduction of the original zinc die cast GM outside mirror. It features the correct factory-style base with raised center rib, factory contours, and brilliant chrome-plated finish for an authentic appearance. Also, unlike generic competitor mirrors sold for any GM division A-body car, please note that ours feature original correct style concave bullet end – a detail specific to Chevrolet – versus Pontiac and Buick which were different. Our RESTOPARTS® version also features a strengthened internal ball-and-socket mechanism to help eliminate the frustrating mirror droop commonly experienced with worn originals and many other reproduction mirrors on the market. Each mirror includes the correct molded gasket, mounting bracket, and installation hardware for a secure, factory-original style installation. Please note: Some reproduction mirrors currently on the market utilize a common base casting for both the left and right sides, unlike our RESTOPARTS® mirrors, which have been reproduced utilizing the proper dedicated separate GM left and right-hand bases, to match the unique body contours of each side of the vehicle as GM intended.
