These RESTOPARTS® tail lamp lenses are exact reproductions of the original 1970 Chevelle GM factory lenses, manufactured from dedicated tooling developed to reproduce the original GM contours, dimensions and molded details. Sold as a matched left- and right pair, they provide the factory-correct fit and appearance required for a proper concours restoration. Each lens is injection molded from UV-resistant red acrylic matching the factory-original material, rather than simply using generic red plastic. The clear backup lens is molded directly into each tail lamp lens as original, reproducing the distinctive combination red-and-clear lens assembly used by Chevrolet in 1970. The details extend well beyond the basic shape of the lens. Each lens receives the correct silver-gray masked finish and inset trim-line detailing to duplicate the original GM appearance. Even the molded face markings are reproduced, including the authentic GUIDE identification and correct LH/RH designation, just as found on the factory-installed lenses.
