1964-66 GM® Column-Shift Neutral Safety/Back-Up Switch (Powerglide)
Column-mounted switch combines starter interlock and back-up-lamp control.
This neutral safety and back-up-light switch is a replacement for the column-shift automatic-transmission arrangement, including the Powerglide applications identified for this switch. The switch prevents starter operation outside Park or Neutral and controls the back-up lamps in Reverse. It mounts at the steering column rather than on a floor shifter.
