For floor shift cars with factory shifters

Although this switch may appear the same on the outside as a Powerglide switch, the internals are quite different. This switch allows for proper operation of neutral safety and also of your back-up lights when upgrading to a 3-speed or 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission. It mounts on the side of your shifter and is not intended for the column.

Note1: The neutral safety switch is not an exact fit for 1964. It uses bayonet connectors and is turned "out" not in. Some rewiring may be necessary
