1964-67 Chevelle/El Camino Powerglide Console Neutral Safety Switch
Floor-shifter switch combines starter interlock with back-up-light control.
This neutral safety and back-up-light switch mounts to the factory Powerglide floor shifter on console-equipped Chevelle and El Camino models. It prevents starting outside Park or Neutral and controls the reverse lamps. On 1964 models, this replacement is not an exact connection match: the bayonet terminals face outward, and some rewiring may be necessary.

- The neutral safety switch is not an exact fit for 1964. It uses bayonet connectors and is turned "out" not in. Some rewiring may be necessary
