Neutral safety switch for compatible 1973–77 GM A-body four-speed applications
This neutral safety switch is designed for compatible 1973–77 Buick, Chevrolet, Oldsmobile and Pontiac A-body vehicles equipped with a four-speed manual transmission. The switch forms part of the starter interlock circuit, helping prevent engine cranking unless the required transmission or clutch condition is met.
It replaces a worn or malfunctioning switch in the applicable starting system. The electrical terminals and mechanical actuation are designed to work with the appropriate four-speed manual-transmission installation.
