Die-cut fiberboard shelf with deluxe mesh covering, speaker openings and matching jute insulation.

This rear package-tray kit includes a REM® reproduction of the original GM rear seat shelf (OPGI SKU #S2108), made from die-cut, color-coordinated fiberboard with a deluxe mesh covering, plus matching jute insulation (OPGI SKU #R530094). General Motors refers to this component as the “Rear Seat Shelf Foundation.” The shelf spans the area behind the rear seat, beneath the back window. A centrally located 6 x 9-inch rear-speaker opening is provided beneath the mesh finish. The jute installs beneath the shelf to help insulate the rear passenger compartment. Buying the shelf and jute together provides the discounted kit option. 3M Super 77 Spray Adhesive (OPGI SKU #KHL2016) is recommended for securing the jute insulation beneath the shelf; sold separately.
