This AMK® set supplies 31 fasteners and related hardware for the factory A/C attachments behind the firewall on a 1971 Chevelle or El Camino. The set covers central air-distribution duct mounting, heater-box-to-firewall attachment and the plenum valve/bracket. Heater-box hardware includes SEMS fasteners, nuts, washers and sealer; the plenum group supplies hex washer-head and Phillips pan-head screws with nuts and washers. An anti-dieseling relay screw, vacuum-hose screw/nut/retainer hardware, a 5.1-inch flexible strap, and two rubber-coated S-clips are also included. Original-style finishes and head markings retain the factory hardware details. A/C ducts, housings and controls are separate.
