Exact reproduction front and rear door-panel water shield set for 1968-72 GM A-Body convertibles. These convertible-specific shields are manufactured from thin opaque plastic rather than the wax-coated paper used on many other body styles. They are precisely die-cut to the application-specific dimensions with the original openings for door handles, window cranks and other factory equipment. Installed between the inner door structure and finished trim panels, the shields help keep water entering the door cavity from reaching the panel boards, reducing the risk of warping, swelling, mildew and deterioration.
