This formed-steel brace secures the 1960–66 Chevrolet/GMC truck steering column beneath the instrument panel. It spans the original column-to-dashboard support position, providing the mounting connection between the column and dash structure. The brace replaces the original support bracket without changing the steering-wheel or column design.
