This RESTOPARTS® dash pad has been reproduced specifically for 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle and El Camino models, with the correct factory dimensions, contours and appearance. Produced like the factory GM original, the pad features molded foam professionally wrapped in vinyl skin with the authentic GM “Cadillac” grain surface used for 1964. This original-style manufacturing method provides the proper grain, feel and finished appearance for an authentic interior restoration. Importantly, the pad is produced around a rigid steel inner structure, as originally used by General Motors, rather than the fiberglass inner structure found in some reproduction pads. The steel structure provides a stable foundation for the molded contours and mounting points, helping maintain the proper shape and fit of the finished pad.
