Six HDX gauges add TFT data, configurable lighting and supplied senders to the SS-style dash.

Upgrade your 1970-72 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, Monte Carlo or El Camino, plus 1971 GMC Sprint SP with Dakota Digital’s HDX direct-fit instrument system. The HDX package combines six analog gauge sweeps with a full-color TFT message center and a central control box that organizes vehicle inputs and supplied solid-state senders. Gauge coverage includes a 0-160 MPH speedometer with split-scale resolution, 0-8,000 RPM tachometer, 0-80 psi oil pressure, 100-260°F water temperature, fuel level and 9-17 VDC voltage. More than 30 user-selectable lighting colors and preset themes allow independent control of gauge, needle/sweep and TFT illumination, with separate day/night brightness. Setup can be handled from the system controls and compatible Dakota Digital Bluetooth app. Dead-faced indicators cover turn signals, high beam, check engine, cruise control and parking brake, with user-definable indicators and settable gauge warnings. Oil-pressure, water-temperature and speed inputs are supported by the included sender package. The HDX-70C-CVL is engineered for the SS-style six-round-gauge dash and uses the stock/reproduction gauge carrier and bezel, sold separately. Dakota’s mounting kit includes the HDX display, universal sender pack, control box, main harness, harness extension, indicator harnesses, buzzer and mounting hardware.
