1967 GTO/Tempest/LeMans A/C Aluminum Dash Backing Plate for Wood Veneer
Die-stamped aluminum backing plate provides the correct support surface for a wood-veneer dash insert.
Restore the foundation beneath the woodgrain dash trim on a 1967 Pontiac GTO, Tempest or LeMans equipped with air conditioning. This backing plate is die-stamped from aluminum to the application-specific dash shape and provides a smooth, rigid surface for the decorative wood veneer. It replaces a damaged, distorted or missing original backing piece.
