This premium RESTOPARTS® console lid kit reproduces the original 1970–72 GM center console door assembly, with careful attention to the materials, grain, trim and functional details found on the factory original. The molded lid features the correct GM-style Madrid grain texture and original factory contours, providing the proper appearance and fit with the original center console. The underside incorporates the correctly formed flock-lined inner backing panel, reproducing the finished construction of the original GM console door rather than leaving the underside unfinished. The lid is complemented by the correct bright center trim, hinge and related latch components, all designed around the original factory configuration. When assembled, the components create a properly detailed reproduction of the original GM console lid assembly, including the correct provision for the factory-style round push-button lock.
