This high-quality reproduction is a direct replacement for the original 1965 Chevelle and El Camino 4-speed console base. Produced in durable injection-molded plastic with a bright chrome-plated finish, it provides the correct fit, function and appearance of the original GM console. The console features the original two-piece design and includes the 4-speed shift boot, boot retainer, shift pattern plate and rear console light lens. Although patterned from the 1965 GM console, it fits and functions correctly in 1964 Chevelle and El Camino models as well. The only difference is cosmetic: the ribbed pattern across the top of the 1965 console is spaced slightly closer together than the original 1964 pattern.
