This nine piece under-carpet sound deadener set reproduces the original-style insulation used beneath the carpet on 1965-70 Pontiac Bonneville & Catalina as well as 1965-68 Pontiac Grand Prix models. Each section is die-cut for its specific location on the floor pan, providing the proper coverage beneath the molded carpet and carpet backing. Unlike universal sound-control material that must be measured and cut during installation, this set is already patterned for the original GM specific floor. Installed directly over the floor pan beneath the carpet, the deadener provides an additional insulating barrier to help reduce road noise and heat transfer into the passenger compartment while reproducing the type of under-carpet installation used in the original vehicle.
