Die-Cut Jute Carpet Padding — Added Cushioning, Insulation & a More Plush Carpet Installation

This under-carpet jute padding is designed for all 1964-67 & 1968-72 GM A-Body models and provides an additional layer of cushioning and insulation beneath the molded carpet. The heavy jute material is die-cut and formed to follow the original GM floor pan, eliminating the need to cut and shape bulk padding during installation. Installed beneath the carpet, the additional layer of padding provides a fuller, more plush feel underfoot while helping the carpet lay properly over the floor pan and transmission tunnel. Jute padding also provides an additional insulating barrier between the carpet and floor, helping reduce heat and road noise entering the passenger compartment. An excellent addition when installing new molded carpet and particularly useful when a more substantial, finished feel is desired.
