This complete carpet restoration kit is designed specifically for 1961–64 Pontiac Bonneville 2-door hardtop models with automatic transmission and without a console. It combines ACC Raylon™ Loop molded carpet, application-specific under-carpet sound deadener and RESTOPARTS® sill plates in one complete package. The two-piece ACC Raylon™ Loop carpet reproduces the appearance and texture of original-style GM loop carpeting while utilizing improved fibers for greater resistance to fading, fuzzing, pilling, bearding and shedding. The carpet is heat-pressed and molded to follow the original floor pan contours for proper fit. An authentically reproduced, machine-bonded heel pad is positioned as original, while vehicle-specific bonded jute backing provides cushioning and additional insulation beneath the carpet. Application-specific sound deadener installs beneath the carpet to help reduce road noise and heat transfer. Completing the kit are RESTOPARTS® sill plates with GM-licensed Body by Fisher emblems riveted in place as original, reproducing the correct finished detail along the door openings.
