This specially assembled carpet kit combines Auto Custom Carpets (ACC) Raylon 80/20 loop-blend carpeting, a separate undercarpet sound-deadener and RESTOPARTS® reproduction sill plates for 1959 Pontiac Bonneville and Catalina 2-door hardtops or sedans. ACC supplies Raylon 80/20 loop-blend carpet made for the original GM floor contours, with the factory-style loop texture, finished carpet edges, machine-bonded heel-pad detail and bonded jute backing. The added sound-deadening layer helps reduce transmitted road noise and heat. RESTOPARTS® contributes the stamped-aluminum sill-plate pair with original-style surface patterning and riveted Fisher Body identification tags for the door thresholds. Together, these complementary components give the restoration its factory-style loop carpet appearance, supplemental floor insulation and finished door-opening trim.
