1976 El Camino Essex Carpet Restoration Kit

Premium ACC Essex Carpet, Sound Deadener & RESTOPARTS® Sill Plates

This complete carpet restoration kit is designed specifically for 1976 Chevrolet El Camino models and combines ACC Essex carpet, application-specific under-carpet sound deadener, RESTOPARTS® sill plates and the required mounting screws in one complete package. The two-piece ACC Essex carpet is produced from 100% nylon with a dense 3/8" pile and approximately 22.5 ounces of yarn per square yard. Essex contains over 40% more nylon fiber than standard Cut-Pile, providing a deeper, fuller appearance and softer feel. The carpet is heat-pressed and molded to follow the original GM floor pan contours for proper fit. An authentically reproduced, machine-bonded heel pad is positioned as original, while bonded jute backing provides cushioning and additional insulation beneath the carpet. Application-specific sound deadener installs beneath the carpet to help reduce road noise and heat transfer. Completing the kit are RESTOPARTS® waffle-pattern sill plates, reproduced to match the original GM design, along with the correct 8-piece sill plate mounting screw set.
