This complete carpet restoration kit is designed for 1973–75 GM A-Body 2-door models. It includes two-piece ACC Essex carpet, application-specific under-carpet sound deadener, premium RESTOPARTS® waffle-pattern sill plates and an eight-piece sill plate mounting screw kit. The 100% nylon Essex carpet features a dense 3/8" pile with over 40% more nylon fiber than standard Cut-Pile, providing a fuller, softer appearance. Heat-pressed and molded to the original floor pan contours, the carpet features an authentically reproduced, machine-bonded heel pad and bonded jute backing. Application-specific sound deadener installs beneath the carpet to help reduce road noise and heat transfer. Completing the kit are RESTOPARTS® waffle-pattern sill plates, reproducing the distinctive original design used on these GM A-Body applications.
